Berry looking much perkier tonight. She doesn’t appear to have moved from her heatmat, but as her food bowl is empty each morning and she has groomed herself, I am now reassured that she is coping well with being a new mummy. The pair of them seem to have a favourite spot as Mum is in the same place, and the pup appears to be suckling in the same position on her righthand side. I haven’t disturbed her for fear of her rejecting her ‘little one’ and am just placing fresh food and water in her pen each day. I cannot wait to catch a glimpse of her newborn pup though. Fingers crossed all is well.
