Wanda, my little Barbastelle snoozing after her lunchtime feed. She guzzles her milk – she absolutely loves it. She also enjoys her ‘meat’ meals, but from day one milk has been her favourite.

I was hoping to test fly Wanda but it was 7.8C in the flight, and understandably she didn’t want to know. She still needs to gain weight and am hoping she will soon be ready. My other wish is that we have a slight rise in temp. without the usual deluge of rain before the end of the month.
