Busy bee

Imagine trying to travel around Britain without our road and rail network. Or imagine if nine out of every ten miles of road just didn’t exist – life would be impossible!

Are you on a B-Line?

Standing in the garden yesterday, daydreaming, and soaking up the warm rays I saw my first Buff-tailed bumblebee of the year. She emerged from under a pile of dead leaves and buzzed off into the sunshine. So pleased that we have winter flowering shrubs and plants in the garden to feed her. I highly recommend the bright yellow winter-flowering Mahonia, and Jasminum nudiflorum, and white winter-flowering Christmas Rose, Helleborus niger, and my Dad’s gift from years ago, the Winter Flowering Honeysuckle.
