Help your local birds as they pair up and look for a place to nest by putting up a nest box. Taken a few years ago, this is one adventurous and cheeky blue tit chick surveying our garden whilst waiting for his mum to return with food. Also don’t forget to clean out old nest boxes, and perhaps put a few dry leaves inside for any birds that may use the box for roosting in during the cold winter nights.
