Sunshine and mealworms

Oct 9, 2021 | Diary, Family, Larmer Tree Studio, Wildlife

Our sunny day has included a drive through lovely countryside to have our flu jabs (makes it all worthwhile), followed by a stroll along a newly discovered by-way with our furry friend Freya.

Back at home, I settled my newly-arrived mealworms in. Bat carers, have to go above and beyond to feed our furry rescues.  Mealworms are cared for like pets. They must receive fresh food daily and have their bedding changed at least once a week.  I didn’t think I would need to purchase more, but my bats seem to have other ideas. They are looking pretty snug and seem to like things just the way they are. Hmm!  Plus I have a new arrival

I have also been harvesting more raspberries and tomatoes. Lovely to be in the sunshine, a good day.
