Our sunny day has included a drive through lovely countryside to have our flu jabs (makes it all worthwhile), followed by a stroll along a newly discovered by-way with our furry friend Freya. Back at home, I settled my newly-arrived mealworms in. We, bat carers, have to go above and beyond to feed our furry rescues.

Mealworms must receive fresh food and bedding and are looked after like pets. lol!! Didn’t think I would need to purchase more, but my bats seem to have other ideas. I reckon they’ve decided they feel pretty snug and like things just the way they are. Hmm! I have also been harvesting more raspberries and tomatoes. Lovely to be in the sunshine, a good day.
