We seem to be having non-stop grey days with intermittent heavy rain, which makes it difficult to see to draw.  If we’re lucky this is followed by a few, bright sunny hours, but the days are now so short it leaves little time to paint, and more often than not, we end up walking the girls as darkness falls. The sunshine today accentuated the gorgeous autumnal colours in the garden and surrounding woodland.  Watching the sky transform into a golden glow whilst listening to the blackbirds singing their evening song, and the rooks and crows squabbling as they bedded down for the night, was bliss.
