Over the years whilst monitoring our Brown Long eared bats, have only ever seen one Pip circuiting the garden, and tonight we have two!! 
They have been darting and dancing around together above the back garden and flying in quite low above the Flight. As it was still daylight I could see them clearly and it was absolutely fantastic. Lots of activity on the detector too with heaps of feeding buzzes. Meanwhile in the new spacious Flight, my two boy bats were busy flying back and forth. Super also to see them manoeuvring in their new space so much more easily. Cannot wait until it is time to soft release them. What a lovely start to the evening. Reassuring too!
