I have been studying bats since the 1990s: helping with daytime and dusk bat surveys and monitoring roosts. Along with habitat destruction, climate change, and insect numbers declining, I also learned that cats and humans are responsible for many bat injuries. For this reason, I decided I would like to be more hands-on with helping protect our enigmatic, furry flying friends.
I have been bat caring now for 15+ years, and each year, more and more bats need our help. If you can help support my bat rescue work, it would be very much appreciated. All donations go to helping rescue and rehabilitate bats. Our little bats need all the help they can get.
