They are on the move. Having seen reports of frog spawn, plus frogs on the move in other parts of the UK, and as it is 8C and raining tonight – I did my first Frog/Toad Patrol of 2023. Sadly, I found two dead frogs that had already been run over on the road, but there was no other activity. If it’s raining plus a mild evening temperature; it is always best to check for movement as this is ideal weather for frog and toad activity. Please do take care when driving at night in these conditions especially if you see the above road sign.
