Lovely to be picking sweet peas in the sunshine. The housemartin chicks are twittering in their nests above me as their parents fly to and fro feeding their hungry second broods.
I have been attempting to master acrylics and paint a lioness portrait since May! Every spring and summer, each artwork tends to be ‘a stop-start piece’, and it’s slow progress with my lioness also… When the phone rings or someone knocks on our door, I can’t say ‘No’ as our precious little bats need all the help they can get.
