Food and water dishes in situ. This is the view from the safety porch, and tonight is the first all-nighter in the flight for Berry Pip mum & Li’l Jonesy pup.
I placed food in the bat box to help them until they learn where the food dishes are situated. Both Pips were flying well at 21.00. I returned at 22.30 and pup was tucked up in the bat box, and mum was still flying. 
Each night since, he goes to bed before mum, and chooses the same box to curl up and snooze in.
