It has been an emotional roller-coaster ride this week what with our chook needing multiple stitches after being dog attacked on Monday, and a charred blue tit arriving on our doorstep – sadly too late to help the poor little thing.
Twixt the mayhem, we thankfully had a lovely walk in the woods yesterday, they are really greening up. We heard our first chiffchaffs and saw wood anemone, violets, lesser celandine and primroses. A lovely, blissful and much-needed, sunny walk.
