When it’s warm I pop a recuperating batty in here for a short while during the evening. I can then see how easily they move, or fly, without fear of losing them.
For their own safety, if they cannot fly but attempt to….it is a nice soft landing. If they can only crawl, at least I can hopefully gauge the problem. The big towels provide somewhere for them to tuck up under and hide.
