These two were on our driveway tonight. A balmy 9C and it had just started to drizzle…..ideal conditions for toad manoeuvres. Whether sitting upright on dry land or lying flat in the rain and pretending not to be there, they are well camouflaged.

To date, toad numbers are definitely down on last year, but this may be due to the recent cold temps.
Plus another rescue bat call, found in a car park building.
