Am really sorry to hear that dear Mosi has passed away.
From 2006-2010 I was involved with the UK Wolf Conservation Trust. I had been invited by Denise Taylor, UKWCT Specialist Advisor and Prof. Marco Musiani from Calgary University, to illustrate two books concerned with Wolf Conservation: ‘A New Era for Wolves & People’ and ‘World of Wolves’.
Thanks to Mosi and her sister Mai, I had the most delightful experience whilst walking with the wolves at the UKWCT. Whilst greeting both wolves and giving Mai a tummy rub, Mosi walked between us, pushing Mai out of the way. I dutifully gave Mosi a tummy rub instead…. at which point she turned and rested her head on my shoulder. To have a wolf gently rest her head on my shoulder was the most amazing feeling and an experience I will never forget. Thank you sweet Mosi and Mai. x
