This Tiger is one of my very early wildlife portraits and I thoroughly enjoyed portraying this magnificent cat.  The sale of my Tiger artwork happened within hours of my artwork being on display at an exhibition.

It was super to sell one of my wildlife portraits so quickly, and so early in my career, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to take a photograph or transparency of my artwork, to use as a reference in the future.  I look forward to portraying more tigers in the not-too-distant future.

Sadly, this beautiful species could be extinct within ten years due to habitat destruction; the pet, zoo, circus, and fur trade, and the ever-increasing human population. We need to protect our tigers and their natural habitat.
