Autumn Memories

I took this photo with a painting in mind.  I haven’t had the time to portray it as yet, and as I like it so much as is, decided to share it – as it is. The photo was taken during the Autumn, on a lovely sunny walk up to my studio.

I walk this track most days and each day it is different: I hear different bird songs, I may see a fallow or roe deer, or a handsome beetle, or vole or woodmouse just going about their business, and during the spring and summer months various butterflies may fluttter-by. The leaves in the treetops slowly change colour, and new plants and fungi appear.  It is an ancient and beautiful track, and rain or shine – I love it.
