Compostable sponge cleaning cloths are 100% plastic-free and made of renewable resources.
Made with 70% FSC plant cellulose, 30% cotton, and water-based inks. Our cloths are 100% natural sponge cloths and certified according to Oeko-Tex standard 100.
Our cloths do not emit micro-plastic pollution, unlike classic sponge cloths. These sponge cloths are very absorbent, durable, and reusable. 100% plastic-free and home-compostable after use.
Directions: Wet the sponge cloth, squeeze it, and use it for cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and all around the house. Rinse the cloth after use.
To care for and prolong the life of your cellulose sponge cloths – either wash in the washing machine at 30º-60ºC, hand wash them, or soak them in Bio Laundry bleach, and then just hang them to dry. Reuse over and over again.
Did you know that whatever the task, each time we use supermarket cleaning cloths and sponges; microplastics are released into our wastewater, which is then poured down the drain and released into the environment and into our oceans?
EcoLiving compostable sponge cleaning cloths are made of natural renewable resources. Not only do cellulose cleaning cloths NOT emit micro-plastic pollutants: they last a long time, are easy to care for, and when they are finally ready to be replaced: the fully biodegradable sponge can be popped into your compost bin and will safely biodegrade in the environment.
This product looks good, feels good, and does exactly the same as ordinary supermarket cloths but the BIG difference is that on a compost heap they break down naturally – unlike plastic sponges which have to go to landfill sites and take hundreds of years to decompose and harm the environment in the process.
