These long-lasting sponge cloths are durable: resistant to tear and abrasion and each cloth can absorb liquid quickly and retain up to 10 times its dry weight in water..

Each time we use supermarket cleaning cloths and sponges; microplastics are released into our wastewater, which is then poured down the drain and released into the environment and into our oceans.

To care for and prolong the life of your cellulose sponge cloths – wash in the washing machine at 30ºC – cold cycle – or hand wash, or soak in oxygenated Bio laundry bleach, and then just hang to dry.

This product looks good, feels good, and does exactly the same as ordinary supermarket cloths but the BIG difference is that on a compost heap they break down naturally – unlike plastic sponges which have to go to landfill sites and take hundreds of years to decompose and harm the environment in the process.
