The Coconut Scouring Pad fits perfectly in your hand.   A natural, large scouring pad made from 100% coconut fibre. Plastic-free and biodegradable means that it is compostable at the end of its life. This scouring pad does not release microplastics into our environment, unlike commercial scouring pads.

I have both a loofah and a coconut scouring pad next to my washing-up bowl and use them both, alongside one another. For example, I wash our porridge bowls with the loofah scrubber and if there are any dried bits of porridge in the saucepan, I use the coconut scrubber.  If you haven’t soaked your dishes, the coconut scrubber removes stubborn foods and other substances safely without scratching the cooking surfaces.

Combined, the coconut scrubbers, cellulose sponge, and loofah scrubbers are a perfect environmentally-friendly team that work well together.  A great way to permanently remove microplastic-releasing products from within your household. Environmentally friendly and a zero-waste alternative to commercial scrapers.

The  Coconut Scouring pad is made from the hair of coconut and bonded with natural latex, these are an excellent alternative to the usual green scratchy pads that remove the non-stick surface of your pans.

Coconut Scrubbers are hard-wearing and long-lasting and will last for many months with normal use.  They are fully compostable and as they are made from natural fibres, they stay fresh and effective for months.

Rinse clean after use. Store in a dry area, on a soap dish for example. For a deep clean, soak in oxygenated Bio Laundry bleach, and then just hang to dry, or soak for a few hours in white or apple cider vinegar – 1 part vinegar to two parts water.
