My artwork, ‘Alpha & Omega’, is a pencil portrait.

Wolves are native to Eurasia and North America. In 2006-2007 I was invited to illustrate two books on wolf conservation, and as part of the project was delighted to be invited to a Wolf Sanctuary here in the U.K.  My wolf artwork, ‘Alpha & Omega’, was produced for the book:  ‘A New Era for Wolves and People’ by Dr. Marco Musiani.  At the U.K Wolf Conservation Trust  I had a lovely time meeting, sketching, and photographing these stunning and large canine members of the Canis lupus family.  The study of wolf interaction and animal behaviour is of great interest to me and I thoroughly enjoyed portraying all the artwork. ‘Alpha & Omega’ is an illustration demonstrating a tussle twixt two wolves, possibly a fight over food, or a mate.

I have actively supported wildlife conservation groups for the past 30+ years and, since becoming a Wildlife Artist, have always dreamed of illustrating a book for a conservation society.  In 2006, this lovely dream came true.
